First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests whether using artificial intelligence (AI) during screening colonoscopy can reduce the chance of developing advanced polyps or colorectal cancer within three years. About 592 adults who need a screening colonoscopy will be randomly assigned to have the procedure with or without AI assistance. The goal is to see if AI helps doctors find and remove more polyps, lowering the risk of future cancer.
