AI eye on colonoscopy: could smart detection cut cancer risk?

Summary
This study tests whether a computer-aided detection (CAD) system helps doctors find more polyps during screening colonoscopy, aiming to reduce the chance of advanced adenomas (precancerous growths) three years later. About 592 adults undergoing routine colonoscopy will be randomly assigned to standard or CAD-assisted procedures. The main goal is to see if CAD lowers the rate of advanced polyps at follow-up.
