First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests if cabergoline, a drug used for other conditions, can prevent episodic migraines in adults who have 4 to 14 migraine days per month. Participants will take a weekly pill (either 0.5 mg, 1.0 mg, or a placebo) for 12 weeks, then all will receive cabergoline for another 12 weeks. The goal is to see if it reduces migraine days and is safe to use.
