New drug cocktail takes on tough pancreatic cancer

Summary
This early-stage trial tests a new targeted drug (CA-4948) added to standard chemotherapy for people with pancreatic cancer that has spread or can't be removed. The goal is to find the safest dose and see if the combination can shrink tumors or slow the disease. About 43 adults whose cancer worsened after prior treatment will take part.
