First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at how well the body cools down after exercise in hot conditions when part of the skin is covered to mimic a burn injury. Researchers will compare the same person with and without this simulated burn to see if recovery is slower. The goal is to understand temperature regulation challenges faced by burn survivors. 28 healthy adults aged 18-65 will participate.
