Shock therapy for jaw clenchers: new combo treatment tested
NCT ID NCT07241728
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether adding a gentle electrical current (diadynamic current) to a 6-week jaw exercise program can reduce pain and improve jaw function in adults with bruxism (teeth grinding/clenching). 24 people with jaw pain will be randomly assigned to either exercises alone or exercises plus the electrical treatment. The goal is to see if the combo offers better pain relief and easier jaw movement.
