First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a gentle electrical current (diadynamic current) to a standard jaw exercise program can better reduce pain and improve jaw function in adults with bruxism (teeth grinding). 24 people with jaw pain will be randomly assigned to either exercises alone or exercises plus the electrical treatment for 6 weeks. Researchers will measure pain, bite strength, and mouth opening to see which approach works best.
