First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a bronchoscopy (a thin, flexible tube with a camera) can help find tuberculosis (TB) in the airways of people whose standard sputum tests came back negative. 63 adults with suspected TB but negative sputum samples took part. The goal was to see if this method could catch cases that would otherwise be missed.
