Short anxiety therapy shows promise for veterans

Summary
This study tested a brief type of talk therapy (cognitive behavioral therapy) for Veterans with anxiety. About 225 Veterans from three VA medical centers took part, receiving the therapy in person or by video at home. The goal was to see if this short therapy helps reduce anxiety more than the usual care Veterans get.
