Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only โ not medical advice or a prediction.
- Active substance
- brief cognitive behavioral therapy (bCBT)
- What this could lead to
- If successful, this could provide an effective, short-term therapy option for Veterans with anxiety that is easy to deliver in primary care settings.
- What could go wrong
- This is a completed pragmatic trial, so results are available but may not apply to all Veterans or settings. The therapy is brief and may not work for everyone with severe anxiety.
