First seen Mar 19, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested two types of breathing exercises—diaphragmatic breathing and pursed-lip breathing—in 60 Egyptian adults with mild to moderate asthma. Participants did the exercises for 8 weeks, 20 minutes twice a day, 5 days a week. The goal was to see if these exercises could improve lung function and chest expansion. The study compared the two methods to find which one works better.
