First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at two different exercises—upper back rotation stretches and shoulder blade squeezes—to see if they could help people with chronic asthma breathe better. Fifty-four adults with asthma took part. The exercises aimed to loosen tight muscles and improve chest expansion, which may reduce shortness of breath and improve lung function.
