First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tested whether a simple, non-invasive breath test can predict if cancer patients will benefit from immunotherapy drugs. Researchers analyzed the breath of 190 adults with lung, melanoma, bladder, kidney, or head and neck cancers to see if unique chemical patterns could identify responders. The goal is to help doctors choose the right treatment and avoid ineffective therapies.
