Could Mom's diet pass food allergies to baby through breast milk?

NCT ID NCT06765213

Summary

This study aimed to understand if common food allergens from a mother's diet pass into her breast milk and whether this causes food allergies in her baby. Researchers planned to test breast milk for allergens and check infants for allergic reactions. The study also wanted to see if introducing these foods to babies early could help prevent allergies from developing.
