Blood pressure pill may reboot cancer treatment for Tough-to-Treat breast cancer
NCT ID NCT05741164
Summary
This study is for people with advanced triple-negative breast cancer that has stopped responding to a standard immunotherapy drug (pembrolizumab). Researchers want to see if adding a common, low-cost blood pressure drug called propranolol can 're-sensitize' the cancer, making the immunotherapy effective again. The trial will enroll about 37 participants to test the safety of this combination and see if it can shrink tumors or stop their growth.
