New trial aims to spare breast cancer patients from arm swelling

Summary
This study compares two treatments for breast cancer that has spread to lymph nodes: radiotherapy versus surgical removal of those nodes. About 1,060 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two approaches. The goal is to see which treatment better preserves arm function and reduces arm swelling two years later.
