NCT ID NCT04745156

First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This early study tests whether a small device placed on the brain can, along with physical therapy, retrain healthy brain areas to take over functions threatened by a tumor. The goal is to allow surgeons to remove more of the tumor without causing permanent weakness or speech problems. Only 3 adults with slow-growing brain tumors will take part to check if the approach is safe and feasible.
