NCT ID NCT04047264
First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study is testing whether a small device called a microdialysis catheter can safely collect fluid samples from brain tumors during surgery. The goal is to measure biomarkers—natural substances that show how the tumor behaves. Researchers hope this information will lead to better ways to diagnose and treat brain tumors in the future. About 100 adults with glioma, glioblastoma, or metastatic brain tumors will take part.
