First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at how the brain processes pleasure, desire, and learning in women with anorexia or bulimia. Researchers will use brain scans (fMRI) and computer tasks to compare 252 women with eating disorders to healthy controls. The goal is to understand the brain differences behind these conditions, not to test a treatment.
