First seen Nov 12, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests a safe, at-home brain stimulation method called RS-tDCS+ combined with cognitive training to improve attention in 160 active-duty service members and veterans who had a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) at least 3 months ago. Participants will receive either real or sham stimulation and complete attention tests, symptom questionnaires, and optional brain scans. The goal is to see if this approach can ease attention and concentration problems and whether improvements last up to 6 weeks.
