NCT ID NCT04606095

First seen Nov 12, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at how brain networks synchronize in people with fibromyalgia, a condition causing widespread pain. Researchers will compare brain activity in 150 participants (patients and healthy volunteers) and test a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique called HD-tDCS to see if it can reduce pain. The goal is to better understand chronic pain and find new ways to treat it without drugs.
