Summary
This study tested a non-drug treatment for veterans suffering from both chronic pain and PTSD. Researchers combined a painless brain stimulation device (tDCS) with a therapy program to see if it could reduce pain and mental health symptoms. They also collected blood and saliva samples to look for biological changes related to the treatment.
