Can magnetic pulses calm the brain in PTSD and depression?

NCT ID NCT07327385

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how two types of noninvasive brain stimulation affect brain activity and the body's stress system in people with both PTSD and major depression. Fifty adults will receive both active and sham stimulation in random order, with brain and heart measurements taken right before and after each session. The goal is to understand how these treatments work, not to provide long-term relief.
