Brain 'Squishiness' could reveal Alzheimer's sooner

NCT ID NCT06029114

Summary

This study is testing whether measuring brain stiffness using a special MRI scan can help doctors detect Alzheimer's disease earlier. Researchers will compare brain stiffness measurements in 450 people: some healthy, some with mild memory problems, and some with Alzheimer's. The goal is to see if this non-invasive scan could become a new tool for earlier and more accurate diagnosis.
