First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 30, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests a mind-body program called Amygdala and Insula Retraining (AIR) to see if it can reduce perimenopause symptoms like hot flashes, sleep problems, fatigue, and mood changes. Researchers will compare 160 women who do the program to those on a waitlist. The goal is to find a non-drug way to improve quality of life during perimenopause.
