Brain zap side effects: new study maps thinking changes after radiosurgery

Summary
This study looks at whether stereotactic radiosurgery (a precise type of radiation) for brain tumors causes problems with thinking, memory, or quality of life. About 80 adults with brain metastases or meningiomas will take memory tests and fill out questionnaires before and after treatment. The goal is to find which brain areas are linked to cognitive decline, so future treatments can avoid those areas and reduce side effects.
