First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at whether adding a brain wave monitor (pEEG) to standard sedation checks helps reduce delirium and time on a breathing machine in ICU patients. Researchers followed 150 adults on ventilators who needed sedation. They compared those who got both the brain monitor and usual care to those who got usual care alone.
