First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tested higher doses of a precise type of radiation (stereotactic radiotherapy) given over five sessions for people with brain metastases that are 2 to 6 centimeters in size. The goal was to find the highest safe dose and to track any side effects. Thirteen adults with up to 10 brain tumors participated, and the results help doctors understand how to treat larger brain tumors more effectively.
