Scientists scan brains to find hidden inflammation in chronic pain and fatigue
NCT ID NCT03759522
Summary
This study aims to understand if brain inflammation is linked to chronic pain and fatigue in conditions like fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and multiple sclerosis. Researchers will use a special brain scan to measure inflammation levels in 120 participants, comparing people with these conditions to healthy volunteers. The goal is to gather knowledge about the role of inflammation, not to test a new treatment.
