New brain cancer strategy: chemo first, radiation later

NCT ID NCT07439172

Summary

This study is testing a new treatment order for aggressive brain tumors (high-grade gliomas). Researchers want to see if giving the chemotherapy drug temozolomide before radiation therapy is effective and safe. They believe this approach could make MRI scans after treatment easier to read, which would help doctors better assess if the treatment is working. If successful, this method could be used to screen other new drugs in the future.
