Easier colonoscopy prep? study tests tablets vs. standard drink
NCT ID NCT07215000
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares two FDA-approved bowel preparation methods for colonoscopy: low-volume tablets (Suflave/Sutab) versus the standard Golytely drink. About 300 adults scheduled for a colonoscopy will be randomly assigned to one of the two options. The goal is to see which method patients prefer, tolerate better, and complete more easily, while still ensuring the colon is clean enough for a good exam.
