First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether injecting botulinum toxin into the rectum can help people with fecal incontinence who haven't improved with standard treatments. About 21 adults will receive the injections and be monitored for changes in bowel muscle activity and symptom severity. The goal is to understand how the treatment works and identify which patients benefit most.
