Summary
This study tests a program to help 750 people with HIV in Botswana stop smoking. The program combines counseling and a medication called varenicline. Quitting smoking can reduce the harmful effects of HIV and prevent early death. The study also looks at how to make this help available in a lasting and affordable way.
