Summary
This study tested a borate-based bioactive glass wound matrix (Mirragen) plus standard care against standard care alone for diabetic foot ulcers. 148 adults with diabetes and a foot ulcer were enrolled. The main goal was to see if the glass dressing helped more wounds close completely within 12 weeks.
