Summary

This study tested a new way to predict bone fractures in people with osteoporosis. Standard bone density scans don't always tell who will break a bone. Researchers used a special CT scan to look at the inner structure of spine bones in 7 older women. The goal was to create a computer tool that uses this scan to better estimate fracture risk.
