Scientists dig through old hospital data to connect bone health and metabolism
NCT ID NCT07454252
Summary
This study aims to understand the connections between bone health, muscle, and the body's energy use by analyzing existing hospital records. Researchers will look at past blood and urine test results from up to 1,000 adults to see how different biomarkers relate to each other based on age and sex. The goal is to build statistical models to explain these relationships, which could improve future understanding of conditions like osteoporosis.
