NCT ID NCT07412782

First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests a new, safe ultrasound technology called REMS to measure bone density in children aged 5 to 18 who have conditions that weaken bones, like brittle bone disease or osteoporosis. Unlike standard X-ray methods, REMS uses no radiation. The goal is to see how well REMS works in children and compare it to the usual DXA scan. About 100 children will take part.
