First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at bone density in 100 pregnant women (ages 30-45) between weeks 35 and 41 of pregnancy. Half are carrying one baby, half are carrying twins. Researchers use a special ultrasound-like scan (REMS) and questionnaires to see if twin pregnancies cause greater bone loss. The goal is to understand risks and improve bone health advice for expectant mothers.
