Could a Patient's own bone marrow heal their damaged spine?

NCT ID NCT07386548

Summary

This study is testing if adding a concentrated injection of a patient's own bone marrow during a common back surgery leads to better long-term results. Researchers will compare patients who get the standard surgery with those who get the surgery plus the injection. They will track pain levels, disability, and use MRI scans to see if the injected disc shows signs of improved health over two years.
