First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study is looking at whether certain substances in the blood can help predict if someone will develop Alzheimer's disease or memory problems. Researchers will follow 1,800 adults aged 60 and older, including those with and without memory issues, to see how well these blood markers match brain scans and clinical diagnoses. The goal is to develop a simple blood test for early detection of Alzheimer's.
