Blood test breakthrough could speed up brain disease diagnosis

NCT ID NCT07314190

Summary

This study is looking at whether simple blood tests can help doctors diagnose brain diseases like Alzheimer's, dementia, depression, and schizophrenia more quickly and accurately. Researchers will analyze blood samples from about 1,800 people who already have these conditions, along with healthy volunteers, to find patterns in their blood markers. The goal is to see if these blood markers can help distinguish between different brain conditions and predict how patients might respond to treatments.
