Simple blood test could spot hidden throat cancer
NCT ID NCT05814549
First seen Jun 26, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This study is testing whether a blood test called NavDx can find HPV-related oropharyngeal cancer early by looking for HPV DNA in the blood. Researchers are enrolling adults aged 45 and older with multiple sexual partners who have no history of this cancer. Participants give blood samples over time, and if the test is positive, they enter a surveillance phase to confirm the finding.
