Blood test may spot colorectal cancer early
NCT ID NCT05577143
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study is testing whether two substances in the blood, called TFPI-1 and TFPI-2, can tell the difference between people who have colorectal cancer and those who don't. About 303 adults aged 50 to 75 will take part, including some with suspected cancer and some without symptoms. If successful, this could lead to a simple blood test to help catch colorectal cancer earlier.
