First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether giving cancer patients a decision aid before their doctor visit (on a smartphone) or during the visit (on paper) helps them feel more involved in treatment decisions. 274 adults with breast or colorectal cancer took part. The goal was to see which format and timing works best for shared decision-making.
