Simple blood test could revolutionize Alzheimer's diagnosis

NCT ID NCT05427448

Summary

This study tested whether specific proteins in the blood can accurately diagnose Alzheimer's disease. Researchers compared blood test results from 342 patients with results from the current standard spinal fluid test and clinical assessments. The goal was to see if a less invasive blood test could be just as reliable for detecting Alzheimer's and related conditions.
