First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looked at whether lowering blood pressure more than usual can prevent small, unruptured brain aneurysms from bursting or growing. 577 Chinese adults with high blood pressure and small aneurysms were randomly assigned to standard or enhanced blood pressure control. The goal was to see if the stricter approach reduces aneurysm complications without causing strokes or heart issues.
