First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether walking on a treadmill while wearing bands that slightly restrict blood flow is safe and helpful for people with type 2 diabetes. Sixty adults with diabetes will walk for 96 minutes a week for 6 weeks, either with or without the bands. Researchers will check if this approach improves fitness, blood sugar, and quality of life compared to regular walking.
