First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether using a technique called blood flow restriction (BFR) along with active recovery can help amateur runners recover better after a run. Researchers will compare BFR plus active recovery to active recovery alone and to complete rest. Thirty-four amateur runners will take part, and their strength, soreness, and other recovery markers will be measured.
