First seen Nov 24, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a special blood test (thrombin generation assay) can help predict which cancer patients with blood clots are at higher risk of bleeding while taking blood thinners. Researchers will follow 212 patients for 6 months to see if the test results match bleeding events. The goal is to improve safety by personalizing treatment choices.
