First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested a new imaging agent called 89Zr-girentuximab to see if it can help detect non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) using PET/CT scans. Six adults with confirmed NMIBC received the agent and were monitored for safety and how well the scans could spot cancer cells. The goal was to improve detection without direct treatment.
