NCT ID NCT07434414
Summary
This study aimed to better understand bipolar disorder by measuring specific proteins in the blood related to brain connections and inflammation. Researchers compared 37 people hospitalized for a manic episode of bipolar disorder to 35 healthy volunteers. The goal was to see if these blood markers differ between the groups and if they relate to the severity of symptoms.
