Healthy volunteers swallow with a tube to test biofeedback's benefit
NCT ID NCT07508059
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether showing people a live video of their swallowing pressure helps them perform swallowing exercises better. Fifty healthy adults aged 18-40 will swallow with a thin pressure-sensing tube in their nose. Researchers will compare swallowing strength and timing with and without the visual feedback. The goal is to understand if this technology could improve swallowing therapy in the future.
