Summary

This study tested whether adding a type of talk therapy (behavioral activation) to esketamine treatment helps people with depression that hasn't improved with standard medications. Six adults with major depression or bipolar disorder took part. The goal was to see if practicing new behaviors while esketamine improved their mood could lead to longer-lasting relief from depressive symptoms.
